You might ask why we don't offer a catalog. The answer is we're a small shop; our doors don't have "model numbers", designs that we crank out. There are literally thousands of possible designs that can be made; simple variations on standard patterns can account for a hundred different doors. To catalog even a few of these designs merely limits the imagination.
What separates Hog Heaven doors from other companies is that each door from our shop is a unique product. From the very beginning, we start with your idea for the door you desire, and work with you throughout the process until delivery. You can rest assured that individualized attention goes into every door we make; we use only quality woods and the expertise of a small, intimate shop of experienced craftsmen. We cut no corners in construction when it comes to getting you the door you want.

Hand-selected
wood
: We have a variety of quality hardwoods in stock, and we can procure others depending on your tastes. Our carpenters hand-select all of our wood stock, assuring quality and beauty in every piece of wood we use. We also specialize in reusing antique wood recovered from old homes, factories, and barns from the Tennessee mountain area. This wood lasts for literally hundreds of years, and offers a unique rustic look.
 Structural integrity
: All Hog Heaven stiles and rails are joined with mortise and tenon joints and polyurethane adhesives to maximize the integrity of the frames. Wooden pegs are also available upon request, but we still use the mortise and tenon joints, which is much stronger than the dowel joints used by most other door manufacturers.
